"The Unique Properties of Matter at the Nanoscale"

Newly developed experimental techniques made it possible to 'see' the matter at the nanoscale while the advances in computational science helped in gaining insight of what processes are probable. The talk will focus on those properties of nanosized objects that can be addressed by both classical and quantum techniques.
